I saw a lot of javelina at Bosque and at one point was able to shoot quite close for a change and at their level. Javelina are not actually related to pigs, although they look like a wild pig. This particular animal is called a collared peccary.

My wife tortured me with a javalina ornament this year. The family thinks it funny but my hundreds of missing plants don’t. Great shots of the terrorists.
