This bird showed up in the rocky edge of a beach in Nova Scotia recently and has stuck around long enough to delight many local birders. It is just the 3rd documented record of this species, normally seen in Florida, in the province. 300mm. f/4Pro lens with 1.4x TC on M4/3 cameraa (OM-1), so there was no need to try and get too close, and the bird seeme unfazed by people watching it from a non-threatening distance.
