Last week, I was able to spend a couple days at Choke Canyon State Park. The park is located about an hour south of San Antonio, and is basically an entire 5,000+ acre peninsula that stretches into Choke Canyon Reservoir. I was focused on trying to photograph Whitetail Deer and Javelina (Collared Peccary).....but I was also lucky enough to get some shots of a Great Horned Owl in great light, as well a few other critters. Here are a few highlights. I hope you guys enjoy.
All of these were taken with my Nikon D500 and Nikon 500mm F/4G ED VR.
