The City of London, also known as The Square Mile, is the financial centre of London, there's a hell of a lot of big buildings squashed into a small space, and they are building more

I do remember that area from my single short trip to London in 2018. From this amgle you can see the incredible diversity of architecture and time span that one does not get in a US city. Love your shot and wish I had been there another couple of days.

That's known as the walkie talkie building owing to it's shape looking like a mobile phone. It was built a few years back and had some issues, including melting cars parked below due to sun reflections off the glass. It has a garden in the roof and a restaurant, both open to the public.
