Cleaning the camera body?

There is a thread covering cleaning the lens and contacts and I have seen many tutorials about sensor cleaning, but what do you guys use to clean the body of both cameras and lenses? I shoot in all conditions and the poor old D500 ends up hanging so advice would be much appreciated.

I have found a fairly soft bristled paint brush to be good for cleaning dust and debris from the body of cameras, especially in those hard to get to places like around the knobs.
If there are any difficult dirty spots I carefully use a tooth pick to gently prise it off, then follow up with a damp lint free cloth.
Not glass though for that I use a lint free cloth dampened with isopryl alcohol.

It hangs up? IMO that is either a reflection of dirty contacts on the camera body or an issue with the camera itself. I use the highest alcohol content isopropyl alcohol I can find to clean the contacts. There is one made for beauticians and nail artists that is 99%.

My bad, I was ruching and just skimmed the OP instead of reading it.

For the body, I usually just spray some cleaner (like lens cleaner) on a microfiber cloth and carefully wipe. Except for the D6, you can just hose that off (kidding!!)
Thanks, you'd think they would make them easier to clean, Nikon's choice of paint is a proper pain.

A Lenspen is also good to use. It has a nice, soft brush built in.
Yes I have one, but it's not man enough for the dirt I am talking about. I shoot around a massive lake or I should say reservoir and its low this time of the year and there's mud, proper mud and it gets everywhere. I end up on my ass at least once every trip.
