No, not studio work. Live ones in the garden. I find later in the afternoon if you find one perched it might let you approach. What I do is put the camera to my face and approach very slowly while talking very softly to them.
 
Impressive,thanks! :) I suppose it helps a bit if it's in your garden. I have to give it a try myself, if i can find one in a suitable place.
Otherwise in the morning ,still cold and full of dew is a good time to get close.
