CMIT ID number?

Hi I have been looking at second hand Nikon d850
I have noticed some have a CMIT ID number & others do not that number.
Can any one tell me what the CMIT is & why some Serie tags do not have a a CMIT ID
Thanks

The CMIT ID is a regularity system used for electronics to be sold in China (something like the FCC in the US). It just means the camera was cleared by the CMIT for sale in China. That does not mean the camera was meant to be sold in China, as far as I know. My D850 has a valid Nikon Canada serial number, but it has CMIT ID.

The D850 is an odd one. Most of the markings, FCC, and the European markers are under the flipping back screen, while the CMIIT is on the bottom. It's on there because the cameras have Bluetooth and WIFI. The Z bodies follow suite, all serial numbers and markers are under the flipping screen.
