Common Cuckoo
Affectionately known locally as Colin.
This bird returned to the same area for 7-8 years consecutively. He was identified by a small black dot below his pupil. He would arrive April every year to be greeted by bird photographer and watchers with live mealworms. Sadly he has not appeared this year. These shots were taken last year.
