I was able to catch this guy in the thick brush . The big ones seldom come out. For those that aren't familiar with the Columbia Whitetail sub species they are found in isolated pockets in Western Washington and Oregon. For many years they were listed as endangered but have been doing very well over the past few years. They are a small sub species similar in size to the Coues deer found in Southern Arizona and Mexico.
