One of my favorites to photograph, though they typically require a bunch of time on the ground in damp grass, looking up and contorting oneself to get decent framing. Anyway, here are a some shots from the past few days.

Excellent! My all-time favorite wildflower. In Virginia they are red, very delicate and “orchid-like”. Thanks for sharing!
We sometimes have a few blue/purple ones here in Wisconsin, but not so far this year. I keep looking. These are all in our home gardens.
They are in my top tier along with the peonies and a couple of other gems in my wife's gardens.
 
Send more as you get them. We had them wild in the western mountains of Virginia and Shenandoah National Park…. Oddly, the previous owner of our current home in coastal Virginia was very successful at propagating them…
