Yesterday one of the local Common Wombats was out grazing alongside the road.

Update, saw three more Wombats yesterday and today
One was feeding very close to the road.

This one yesterday refused a front on view but I did find his rump hair do quite interesting.

Every time we head south it'a one thing my wife and I seek out, love these tubby buggers! Best thing we ever seen was one wading and grazing in the water down at Wilsons Promontory, he/she was just so free of the world to wander safely. Another place we stay at in Waberton has them come past the bedroom window foraging in the garden... we sit there with a dim light in the middle of the night and watch them :D
