When I went to fill the feeder this afternoon this Cooper's hawk was 6-8 feet away, just watching. I tiptoed inside to get the camera and managed a decent shot before it talk off. No wonder the little birds are so skittish.

Nice image, Scott. I have a Cooper's that swings by my feeder about 2-3 times per year and does the same thing. When it arrives, the little ones scatter in all directions.

Thanks, Rassie. It's been hanging around for a few weeks. Hope it eats house sparrows if it must.😊
