Iguana checking it's safe before descending
lizard - species unknown
Common Basilisk. Also known as the Jesus lizard for its ability to run upright across water when pursued by a predator. They can reach about 24 km/h and can run a few meters on water before sinking, at which point they then swim underwater to safety. A really remarkable reptile with hind feet and tail optimized for propulsion.
