We are due to leave for Kruger in 19 days . . . and we are also headed for serious lockdown, may hear tonight - so I have been looking at images I shot last Jan/Feb in Kruger that I have not worked on. I have posted similar images, but these two are brand new processed images.

And 30 minutes later, we saw this guy!

A very relaxed cat in the first pic, but I can't work out if the lower Leopard has a damaged jaw or if it is the remains of the last meal ? Good photos though Callie.

He lost his tooth it seems but he seems to have recovered completely

Great shots, the 2nd is most interesting, this veteran female looks to have had part of her jaw broken as the lower palette has shifted dramatically to the right, that would make for
uncomfortable eating, but as you'd know Callie, these big cats are very resilient.

Fingers crossed you can get there, here in OZ with our country closed to International travel, (and likely to stay that way for another 1 to 2 yrs) it has also become increasingly frustrating to even attempt to book interstate travel, with state borders going through cycles of opening, closing, reopening every 2nd month now, so frustrating. :ROFLMAO: And for someone who travels to Africa 4/5 times a year it has been a depressing scene.
Regardless trying not to grumble, as our CoVid cases are so small in comparison to the devastating numbers in the US, EU & UK, being an island continent has had its advantages.

Thanks Marc
I am up to date with QLD covid as my son is the coordinator. He just sent me the 100th covid mail going to all parties concerned. I read Victoria had some cases and everyone who was there must go into 14 day quarantine. You guys are really fortunate. Up here, the second wave is real bad. We have stayed home since Feb. and I feel for you since you cannot get to Africa.
My son talks about maybe Nov this year that he might be able to fly out to us.
So, we surf the old pictures and try to improve the post processing.
Take care

Beautiful shots Callie. I hope the second one recovers.
