Coyote with bird in Rocky Mountain National Park

We came across this coyote while we were driving around Rocky Mountain National Park. At one point he sat down to watch us. Well it wasn't until I got back to my computer that I noticed I caught a bird flying over his head. This is my first time to actual get photos of a coyote.

That was some serendipity, Rose. I've only ever manages images of coyotes from far away. Good thing the bird didn't fly any lower otherwise it might have become lunch. :)

Congrats on getting a good shot of a coyote. They are very common where I live in Tucson but also very skittish, so getting good photos can be difficult.
