Crab Feast
Not stunning images but a memorable sight. I was attracted by the squawking of many hundreds of gulls along the grass marsh shores at Burton Island. As I approached the guls did not take flight. The gulls were feasting on the eggs of spawning Horseshoe Crabs. I was able to get within arms reach of the gulls in my kayak. This was something I had not seen before.
I had to back away from the gulls due to the minimum focusing distance of the Nikon 180-600 zoom.
