I love these beautiful creatures. The other day I took a walnut from one of them.
She didn't have time to take it and run away, as they always do when you get close to them.
And I broke it to help her. After I walked 50 meters, another one landed by side with a new nut.
This time crow didn't run away with the nut, she let me help her again.

Your crows must be tamer than the ones in Kentucky. Ours would never let you get close enough to take a walnut from them. They are very smart but also very wary. Ours are also solid black. Very nice photo!
