I went out the following evening after my last shot of this species and got lucky again. I like the techs and lighting much better on this one. Yes I could have cropped that piece from the bg, but it didn't distract enough for me to care.

... and yes, 1/160th. I was on a tripod and the bird was mostly still. I rattled off some high-speed bursts as a precautionary measure.
