I just picked up a minty D500 and am looking for a strap (Black Rapid has been on my radar). Preferably, it would have a little pouch that can hold an additional battery and some memory cards.

Suggestions?

The Black Rapid RS4 has a small pouch. Personally I’ve come to loathe sling / neck straps, let alone make them heavier with batteries etc, however each to their own. I reckon opinion is divided on strap or no strap. If I’m going with minimal stuff I prefer a waist belt with small pouch.

I've been using copy BR straps for years and love them. Many will say they can't live with the camera movement, but you get used to it and can add a bit of stabilisation with a hand or belt loop stay. There is a small pouch near the padded shoulder pad that takes a couple of memory cards, but not a battery. I put a spare battery in a pocket if i think I'll need one and won't have my bag to hand.
