Nikon D500 firmware update available - V1.40
And a surprise firmware update for the D500 was released today https://downloadcenter.nikonimglib.com/en/download/fw/544.html One smallish change Changes from “C” Firmware Version 1.31 to 1.40 • Changed the default password displayed on the connection menu after all the camera's settings...

Most likely… There are some very loyal D500 fans (with good reason) that may have assumed they were at the end of the road on FW updates.. I didn’t look to see what was in the package…Nikon D500 firmware update available - V1.40

Yeah it's about as anticlimactic as I could imagine, but cool to see it's still getting updates.

Yeah….. I did one of these..
when a FW showed up for the D850 a couple years ago…. Totally unexpected
