Good day all. I'm trialing a Z9 for work. I'm an Imagery Technician in the Canadian Armed Forces. Army. I can't seem to get the Z9 to represent the actual set exposure in the Live View or through the EVF on the Z9 while in S, L or H burst modes. The only way I get the live exposure reading is when I'm in 30 or 120fps. Not ideal, obviously. Otherwise I am unable to see a live representation of my exposure. I've set the in menu - Shooting/display #d9 setting to "Show effects of settings" vs. "Adjust for ease of viewing". I was under the impression that this is what was necessary to accomplish what I'm looking for. I have a Z7 ii and have never encountered this issue. I would appreciate any help to solve this issue. Thanks.

I know this is a 2 year old post but I have the same issue. However, upon a little experimentation I found that in manual mode it works as you would expect. I don't know why it does not work in aperture or shutter priority.

I just did a brief bit of experimenting with my Z9. In each shooting mode (M, A, S, and P), I changed the d10 setting from Show effects of settings to Adjust for ease of viewing --> Custom. Changes in d10 View mode (photo Lv) appear to work as I expected.

I'd make sure Starlight View is disabled as that changes the way the EVF responds.
