Came across this Dagga Boy about to cross the track that we were driving along and he stopped to observe us.
Dagga Boy is a name given to solitary old African Buffalo bulls who have been forced out of the herd by young virile Bulls.
One can see the wear on the boss of his horns.
Dagga is a Zulu word meaning mud - describing their keenness to spend time lazing about in muddy wallows.
Taken in the Kruger Park in South Africa.

Excellent shot, Gavin. You're making that Z8 sing nicely!
Many thanks Koos,
Getting more accustomed to the Z8 ,[I have to, as I traded in both my D850 and D500].
Great camera, but also frustrating at times - mainly my own fault .
I now hope i've got to grips with all my key settings - this forum and Steve's books and guides have greatly assisted here.
