One of the first signs of spring as far as I am concerned is the emergence of bee-flies in my garden. This is the dark edged bee-fly, named because of the black leading edge to the wings which can be seen more clearly when at rest. It's not how I normally use my 180-600mm lens but it did a reasonable job...
