I got back from Darwin trip. Only did three trips up the Creek as I became ill for the last five days. My trip coincided with Pitch Black 2024, an air force thing with a lot of noise and 20 countries taking part. An Italian guy had to eject, lost the plane, fortunately he was OK. I got to see lots of planes which I have little interest in, but the military dog display was great. Got a lot of photos. Unfortunately I stuffed up the kingfishers with catches. Maybe next time. It will take me weeks to process the photos, which I will post here. I have done some, about five.
This was a Brahminy Kite that came very close to the boat to check us out.
Little King Fisher. Saw lots of these on all three Creek trips.
I wanted to play with the dogs but it is strictly forbidden.
Probably just as well.
