Thanks. The amazing sunset last night went on for about 30 min. In terms of the hawks we regularly see here are Red Tails and Harris. One of the Red Tail pair is often seen at the top of a tall Saguaro each night so that was my guess.
And with a little bit of irony, one of the red tails appeared this morning with a lizard draped from its mouth. This perch is about 100 yards away so I just enjoyed the moment.
