what has happened to the natural sound (music replaced) when videoing? A good directional microphone could pick up sound without any problems. unfortunately this to me is a big letdown. Yes the visual is great definately but making a vidoe is not just the visual, that is only half of a video. Add music( if one must) yes as a background but using 2 recoding sound tracks making the natural sound more prominent

Eeveryone has said how great fantastc etc but what help is that in pointing out possible improvements???? none . that is why I am putting emphesis on sound.
Same with the heading. No mention of where it was made or even time of year or which year. The intro could have given more information, even a voice over would help

I bet I get shot down by all for mentioning ,but if commenting make it constructive

Realspeed; Thanks for taking the time to comment and I do appreciate your thoughts - albeit sounding unnessarily angry. As the title says this is a Demo Reel, not a film. The date is there, location is not pertinent, and most of this was shot for stock footage agencies where sound is only wanted/used when it enhances the clip and is an integral part. Further, much of what I shoot is slow-mo and sound recording does not work well, nor sync. In a film of course I could add some ambient sounds. So what sound would I put with the eagle as opposed to the sound of the Snow Geese taking off? I have lots of mics but in the field often choose not to use them - my call, my taste. Similarly with titles - this is a DEMO and most agencies/buyers do not want titles nor narration. I chose to post the DEMO here for those that might like the images. Sorry you were disappointed. To the rest of you folks - thanks for the positive comment.

Maybe if you explained this first I would have posted differently. I speak plainly and often sounds angry which is far from the truth. Too many only post to please and either don't make videos or don't understand what is involved. Having made videos for myself as reminders I know what it takes to make one and it's not just linking clips together. I know how hard it is to produce something as you have done, which is why I noticed things others may have missed. Natural sound in a video is something I try to include every time and too many cover this up by using music instead. Hence that is the first thing I noticed. Now I know the reason for the video all I can do is apologise to you if my comment caused offence. I occasionally add script within a clip to help explain what it is about
