Depth of Field?

I'm stumped as to the tree on the far right. The left third of it appears blurred much like the rest of the background here. OTOH, the right two thirds appear much sharper. I'm pretty sure that's all the same tree so I don't know why such a sharp change occurs across what appears to be almost the same plane. Can anybody tell me what may be going on here?

I've done some PP but others raw photos shot at the same time in the same spot have the same issue.

Z8, 600 PF at 6.3, 1/800, 10,000 ISO
