During a trip to Sossusvlei Namibia, there was plenty of opportunity to photograph the stunning Gemsbok (Oryx).
I wanted to get a different perspective with the desert environment. Luckily the lodge I was staying at had a small water hole but the animals were very timid and easily spooked. I set a camera with a wide angle lens, under a few rocks for protection. Taking a picture every 10 seconds, I let it run for an hour.
Nikon D4, 16-35f4 @ 26mm, f10 @ 1/500, ISO400
