Hello,
I am looking at ways to transport this lens pointing down (I know, not recommended) with the camera attached in a bespoke hiking backpack setup I am considering, with a drop in foam insert.
I am interested to know the length of the lens with a Z9 attached and lens hood reversed please if possible. Also interested to hear if anyone else has gone the bespoke (not official camera bag) route.
For those interested i am considering either a Mystery ranch Terraframe 60, or 80l depending on the overall size of aforementioned.
