Dinner

So I was in my backyard this afternoon and saw a Merlin flying in the area. It then made a beeline to the upper part of a pine tree in our backyard. I went in and got the D500 with 500mm PF and was able to get this image. Looks like a European Starling that was a little slow became dinner.

Thanks Ziggy. I was pretty surprised by it, and I forgot to check my settings (sorry Steve). The shutter speed was too fast, 1/3200 and the auto ISO came in at 4000, which is higher than I’d like.
