I'm just heading home from a week in the Kruger NP and Sabi Sands. It has been extremely hot reaching 42C/107F on several days. This one of a group of elephants photographed from the road as they covered themselves in dust to try and reduce the effects of the heat. My son and I were very comfortable in our air-conditioned car in the Kruger but 4 days inan open vehicle at Mala Mala got very sticky.
