Dot-tailed Whiteface (Male) Macro with the Nikon 300 PF

The 300 PF is quickly becoming my lens of choice! With a minimum focus distance of 1.4m (5' 7") you can stand straight and get great detail. I am going out this afternoon to test the lens with an extension tube, but I'm not sure I need to get much closer than the 1.4m !

Great images! Like the first one the best. The 300mm PF does make a good "macro" lens. I see you're from Minnesota, too.
