Dreamy Cygnet

If you would like to post, you'll need to register. Note that if you have a BCG store account, you'll need a new, separate account here (we keep the two sites separate for security purposes).

I haven’t posted for a while as I really did not have anything to post!

Today (02/6/24) I took this photograph of a Cygnet just approach some long grass with three siblings and parents at a local park/nature reserve.

Nice image. If you are not shooting this for National Geographic where you arene't allowed to remove anything, I probably would remove the two "stalks" on the right that are in focus and a bit distracting; also the out of focus stalk across the bill, and the one coming from the left across the neck. And maybe some in front and on the left.

Thanks and an interesting view point. I personally think National Geographic have a good point about not manipulating photographs beyond basic edits.
