Taken just post sunrise to catch the shadows of the Acacia trees at the base of this, the world's tallest sand dune. Nikon D60 wth 18-55mm f5.6 ISO 100, 1/125 sec..( Handheld ).

Just goes to show you don't need the latest and greatest equipment to make stunning images ... just the imagination and talent :)

Thanks Bristolian for the very kind words --- yes, your'e correct, sometimes having so much technology available today puts too much pressure on "getting it right" . This situation was more "instinctive" and deserved to be captured --- I couldn't have left without having a crack at it !
 
Ah!, few places on earth has better light than Namibia! Love that country, love your image!
Thanks Callie --- I totally agree with you, having driven around a lot of it over 3 weeks (many moons ago now) and having visited many other top wildlife countries, it's one of the few I would happily revisit --- the variety of its diverse landscapes, each with their own indigenous animals, is stunning !
