Duplicate E drive on my PC

Hi all,
Been meaning to ask this for a while, even though it's not a big issue for me. When I connect my XQD card reader/XQD card into my PC the drive letter (in this case "E") shows twice in the drive list in explorer. See image below. Each entry has the same subfolders/files. Any ideas why? Cheers.
Just noted too that it also happens when connecting my external usb drive.

Update: OK, so I found an article online that shows how to fix this, and it involves deleting 2 files in the registry ( I backed up the registry just in case). It works fine...no more duplicate drives showing up. In case anyone has the same issue in windows 10, here's the link:https://www.howtogeek.com/335622/how-to-fix-windows-explorer-showing-drives-twice-in-the-sidebar/
Meanwhile I note that when I connect my xqd card reader I get 2 folders, DCIM and NIKON. The NIKON folder contains a folder called NIKON D500. My photos go to DCIM. What's the other folder for? Thanks again.
