Seldom do I take environmental photos, but it would have been hard to get close to this bald eagle as it flew by, backed by the flank of Bald Eagle Mountain in northcentral Pennsylvania. The mountain was named for the leader of a band of Native Americans whose name Woapalanne -- translates to "Bald Eagle".
