Very nice! It looks like an immature bald eagle, 2nd or 3rd year (Sibley Field Guide to the birds of Eastern North America).

I'm far from knowledgeable about identification, but more than one falconer local to me has shared one of their "quick checks" on eagles. They tell me that the Golden eagle will have feathers all the way down it's legs to the feet, whereas the Bald eagle will have " bare ankles". I have made it my mission this year to try and test that theory as much as possible. So far it looks like they are pretty well on the mark.
