We were driving back from a weekend trip to Dinosaur National Monument, and were heading home when we spotted a large Eagle nest in a tree right next to the highway. Big, full and visible to all who looked. Of course we stopped and spent some time with both the Z 100-400 at 400mm and the Z 800PF on my Z9. All shots are 24mp crops. The nest was across a fence on restricted land so, of course, we shot from outside the fence. Here are a few of the captures. It was wonderful to note the presence of three young ones in the nest. It is my first set of photos of a nest with any young visible.
I will cleanup a few brances as I finalize the edits.
