A healthy looking example of one in a field in Nova Scotia, 12/1/2021. The Eastern Coyote has wolf and domestic dog DNA, and is about 1/3 larger than the Western Coyote. They have become urbanised, and are common even in suburbia - usually out of sight, but not necessarily out out of earshot - especially at night. Hearing them from home after dark still gives me goosebumps. Nikon D500, 300 F4-PF with 1.7TC. Taken from inside my vehicle. Processed in LR C and Topaz AI Clear.

Hi Richard, nice that you give your photographic info.
I didn’t realise that there was such a difference between eastern and western Coyotes, not that I’ve seen many
Very nice ! image with beautiful detail and as you say very wolf like.

Great photo Richard, I’ve seen many Coyotes in California and I can tell you, they are not as magnificent as this one is.

Great shot, and that one looks pretty healthy. I have them on my property, but never actually see them. I get photos of them on my game cameras, but only at night.
