I have been in Darwin for three weeks, fly back to Toowoomba on Saturday. Highlight has been three trips up Buffalo Creek. Got photos of all four kingfishers that live on the creek. Managed to stuff up shots of kingfishers with fish and crabs due to incompetence brought on by senile dimentia amd osteo arthritis, dehydration may have played a part. Each trip was different, bird species, tide and light conditions. Got photos I might end up printing of Chestnut Rail and Buff Banded Rail. Will post phototos once they are PP’ed in Toowoomba.
