Coracias garrulous (and they certainly can make a racket...) These little Chappy and chappes's are long distance migrants and like to winter in Eastern and Southern Africa. Not commonly seen in Kenya so it was a pleasant surprise to come across several whilst driving through Tsavo National Park recently.

This was a new one for me, never seen one in 3 years of doing photography and then several popped up in one day. Strange how that happens.,
