Not sure about the "Creeper" part of the name , whenever I try to photograph one they are running up the tree, only resting when they are behind a branch

Thanks. I just had a look at the American variety (Certhia americana) and I agree they look very similar to "our" Certhia familiarisNice photo. They look very similar to the Brown Creeper here in the States.
