I visited the Everglades NP this past Tuesday and Wednesday.
On Tuesday I did five short hikes.
By far the best for wildlife was the Anhinga Trail.
All these pictures except for the turtle were on the Anhinga Trail.

Right at the end of the long straight boardwalk, there used to be mudflats with dozens of gators (and black vultures). It was other-worldly. Lots of birds around too, and photographers from distant places with big white lenses. The pic below is from 2008.
