I’m sooooo confused.
I can see the RAW HDR effect while working in ACR or LRC or Photoshop, but I haven’t found a way to export it as HDR and be able to view it on a PC.

I don't know much about it, this is from that article:

Saving HDR photos
Once you've finished editing a photo in HDR mode, select File > Export > File Settings > Select the file format from the drop-down menu > Enable HDR Output checkbox and then select Export.

Supported non-Raw HDR file formats include:

AVIF
JPEG XL
TIFF
PSD
PNG

Also from the article. I'm thinking you would embed one of the listed profiles according to the specs of the hdr capable monitor that will view the file.

HDR Color Spaces

Lightroom Classic currently supports three color spaces when editing, opening, or saving a photo in HDR mode:
  • HDR sRGB (Rec. 709)
  • HDR P3
  • HDR Rec. 2020
These are HDR-enabled versions of the existing sRGB, Display P3, and Rec. 2020 color spaces. sRGB has the smallest color gamut, and Rec. 2020 has the largest.

Saw this on the interweb:

Settings check: Go to Settings > System > Display and make sure "Use HDR" is turned on under "Windows HD Color".

Thank you to all trying to help.
Let me clarify;
1) I have a HDR display
2) HDR is turned ON
3) HDR is working ONLY when opening the raw file in LCR, PS.

My issue is exporting.
After exporting the HDR raw, - by selecting HDR P3 or HDR rec709, windows picture viewer or my iPhone won’t show it in HDR.

No matter which format I choose to use export, it won’t show HDR.

While Adobe may be able to open a HEIF, there is no way to export from RAW to HEIF. And this includes NX Studio.

My only work around so far, Saving the NEF to Adobe Lightroom cloud. Retrieving it on the iPhone.
Exporting it (with HDR selected) to the iPhone camera roll.
Selecting the picture in the iPhone photo app, select edit, choose auto adjust, only then the app will map the photo to HDR and it will show HDR within the iPhone photos app.

Windows is still unanswered…
