Going there for 2 weeks in November. I have the 24-200 on my Z8. 600PF on my Z9. My question is these penguins will come right up to your face. I am really quite happy with my results from the 24-200, but it is not an S lens. Thinking whether I should get a 24-120S. I’m really hoping for some excellent photos of these most interesting creatures.

Thanks for your thoughts.

I was there in January and found the Z100-400 to be perfect.

Sounds like a sorta bucket list photos are importantly trip…and while 8 have and use the 24-200…not on those trips. I personally would take either the 24-70, 100-400, and 600 or the 24-120 and 180-600 myself. Depends on how much walking around you’ll be doing and how much you want to carry.
