What a great location! Beautiful photos....#2 is an excellent composition. Perhaps try a pano crop.....that way the bright sky doesn't dominate the image and the fall colors frame the lake and reflected clouds nicely.

Good suggestion, thanks, Karen. I agree, move the horizon line higher with less sky for a better rule of thirds composition. I'll do that.
