I spent the past week camping in Northern Michigan braving the unpredictable lake effect weather which brought cold temps and obscene amounts of rain, but thankfully every time I got to where I wanted to take photos, the weather broke just long enough for me to snap a few shots. I hiked 38 miles over 4 days, including 12 and 15 mile hikes on back to back days just to get to a couple vantage points that I knew would give me good views of the colors, which just happened to be peaking during my visit.
First up is Spray Falls, one of the cooler waterfalls I've come across that dumps straight into Lake Superior.
And then my other favorite shot from the trip is this view which was taken somewhere between Grand Portal Point and Mosquito Beach.
