the images full of atmosphere, great sharpness in front, middle and background. GFX is a mid format camera, if I am not mistaken? the pictures look great.
where it is exactly?

Thank You! Yes, the Fuji GFX is a medium format camera. I find DOF is a bit shallower than a full frame camera, and will occasionally focus stack. This is Lake Willoughby in Westmore, Vermont. It's a glacial lake and over 300 feet deep.

I had a look at Wiki and on the map. it is a nice place, there is also a Willoughby forest. It is not far from Canada (Montreal), the lake has even a beach :) however it is high in the mountain. Very interesting. I just extended my geography knowledge a little bit ;-)
Waiting for the forest photos ;)

Yes, very close to Canada (about 25 miles to the border). Montreal is a little over an hour away. Willoughby state forest is about 7000 acres around the lake. There are several other lakes and ponds within the forest.

This photo is at the south end of the lake, and the small, secluded beach here is "clothing optional". The north end of the lake has a much larger, sandy beach.
