Out in my kayak at one of my favorite state parks near me a couple weeks ago, sky was overcast with a prediction of rain. Decided to chance it anyway, and really glad I did. Barn swallow chicks were perched on a branch quite calmly, until mama got close with food. Then they all lit up! Hope you enjoy.
