Washington State Ferry crossing Puget Sound in a mix of low clouds / fog and higher level clouds which are just catching the first light of sunrise and slightly obscuring the moon.

The only thing better than photographing a ferry is riding one! Very nice balance of the ferry, the clouds and the water.

yup, I take one of the water taxis into work every day (and used to ride onto one of the car ferries for years, every day)

We do not get out to the peninsula as much these days, but I do have a friend on BI that I visit from time to time. It always feels great to have the wind blowing at you on deck, at least for a few minutes until your face starts to freeze up!
